Frame Extractor

Frame Extractor 소개

Frame Extractor는 기기에 있는 동영상에서 재사용 가능한 정지 화면을 추출하는 독립적인 브라우저 도구입니다. 파일을 서버에 업로드하지 않고 사용할 수 있습니다.

Who operates this site

Frame Extractor is operated and maintained by the Frame Extractor project team, a small independent software project. The team is responsible for the website, the browser extraction workflow, the published guides, support replies, and privacy requests. The public contact for the operator is [email protected].

Frame Extractor is not owned, sponsored, or endorsed by Google, YouTube, Instagram, Meta, X, TikTok, or any video-editing software vendor. Platform names appear only when a guide explains the characteristics of a user-supplied file or a publishing workflow.

Our purpose

The project focuses on a small, well-defined job: load a video that is already on your device, inspect candidate moments, and export only the images worth keeping. Count, interval, keyframe, and timestamp modes cover different kinds of review, from a quick visual index to a precise evidence image.

We do not host a library of videos, scrape social networks, or sell access to user files. The application is designed as a client-side utility, so the source video and generated frames stay in the browser while the task is running.

How we work

The site is maintained as a small independent project. We test the workflow with ordinary MP4, WebM, and MOV files, document limitations instead of promising that every codec will work, and prefer clear instructions over inflated performance claims. Browser memory, video duration, codec support, and device speed all affect the result.

The longer guides on this site explain why a setting is useful and what to check before exporting. They are written to stand on their own, so a reader can follow the process even when the tool is not the right choice for a particular job.

Responsible use

You should only process videos that you own or are allowed to use. Extracting a frame does not change the copyright, privacy, or consent obligations attached to the original recording. If a clip contains personal or confidential information, review it locally and remove temporary files when your work is finished.
